Hello lovely people! I just realized that abbreviating my username gives you "DIM." Woops. Miss DIM I am then! Take your average, every day, 24-year-old plain jane gal, find her opposite, and you've located me! I am an artist first, a student second, and a hard working self sufficient adult third. I am a very busy woman. I may work hard, but I like to play harder. Life is only a stressful and serious as you want it to be, and I am not about to let it get me down! What brings me to the Hip Forums? Boredom. Living in the wonderfully conservative Indiana is enough to drive anybody insane. It's remarkably stuffy and suffocating, and the culture/life is wilted at best. I'm looking to chat with new people, encounter new perspectives, and hopefully make some new friends! I do hope this message finds its readers quite well, and have a lovely day!
*boogies with Dude111* Thanks for the welcome! I am happy to be here! I've been a browser for years on various topics, especially the dreadlocks threads. After coming across some super bad cyber world experiences with stuffy elitist dreadheads on a specific site, I laid off the chatting for a while to let the negativity clear out. Now that the dust has settled, it's time to give a new (seemingly more positive) site a try! I like the randomness here better anyways!
I'm new here too, looking for new hippy friends, I'm Ian, but I go by shaggy. What kind of art are you into? You seem like an interesting cat, hit me back!
Surely its DITM ...which is a bit more flattering! Welcome to here, I hope you find what you're looking for.
Hello Miss Dancing! Glad you found the HIP Forums! As for Lafayette? Hmmm! I've done a full-blown visit to Indianapolis. I was into Hammond a few weeks earlier for all of 4 blocks over the state line from Illinois (NICTD train station). That's my time in Indiana in my entire lifetime. P.S. Both trips were in the summer of 2010.
Thank you for the welcome, everybody! I am quite happy to be here! I quite like DITM; it is far better than DIM! Why thank you! Welcome to you too!
You really are not missing much here! I actually was born in Hammond and grew up near there. It can be quite ghetto fabulous if you get into the wrong areas. Thankfully, I am away from that and enjoying Lafayette. It has some nice nooks and crannies that I enjoy, but I am looking forward to doing more traveling far, far away.
