From When Women Wanted Sex Much More Than Men Very interesting article about how the perceptions of sex, especially sex drive, have basically reversed gender roles in the past few hundred years. And that, no matter what the outcome is, women still seem to end at home.
I see the differences, but i also see the similaraties. Male fantasies have evolved and womens have aswel. This is now acceptable, when before it was shunned and not spoken of. Womens sex drive is definatley there, why do they think we wear somewhat revealing articles of clothing, to show our desirables. We have a lust for touch, the human race does. It isnt needed but it is a hot product and will always be.
A fuck is a fuck at the end of the day and like all good cooks know, you have to add flavours to make it better.....
One of my best friends works in an elementary school, and she says it's more common for kindergarten girls than boys to play with themselves. She says it's hilarious to watch one of the girls grind her crotch against the corner of a desk while talking to somebody, both of them totally clueless about how her actions might be perceived by adults. As adults age, male sexual interest seems to go down while female interest increases. For the guys, it's probably all about declining testosterone levels, while the women are gaining sexual self-confidence, as their fears of accidental pregnancy diminish along with fertility. When Thomas Jefferson was replacing Ben Franklin as US ambassador to France, Franklin told Jefferson that high society French ladies over the age of menopause were extremely slutty, and that he should take full advantage.
You should read The First Sex by Elizabeth Gould Davis; "the book that proves that woman's contribution to civilization has been greater than man's" and how the first societies, farther back than our recorded history, were peaceful, technologically and spiritually advanced matriarchal societies that were eventually overthrown and destroyed by power hungry jealous males.
I have heard of that book and have just never gotten around to reading it. Thanks for bringing it back to my attention.
It also goes into how women are indeed more sexual than men, gynocracies, the biological differences between women and men, Past civilizations, etc.
He ridiculed John Adams for not wanting to. I really loved the sexual dynamic between Peggy and Al on 'Married with Children'. I don't know where I've heard this, and I'm probably screwing it up but it reminds me of an adage; "Women only want to sleep with their husbands, men only want to sleep with other men's wives" I don't understand why the common thought is so inflexible in it's views of sexuality the last few decades.
