Finally people are catching on, correlation ALWAYS fucking PROVES causation. Harry dickslinger had it right all along, and now that teen nick have sorted that out, let's get back to our repressed lives already.
Likewise. Because I spent moths researching drugs and decided that weed, LSD, DMT, and many others sounded like great fun, and beneficial to boot. So I started smoking weed, and then as I gained access to them started taking other psychedelics. SO? As many have said, that's irrelevant. Driving is a gateway to drunk driving, shaking hands is a gateway to aggravated assault, bread is a gateway to cake, and we all know cake's bad for you. Actually I lied. My hypocritical culture fed me caffine long before I was old enough to understand how serious a drug it was, despite my parents best efforts to limit my access to it. Guess we do need to step up enforcement. (And it remains one of my favorite drugs, I'm on a hefty dose of it right now, and have experienced withdrawls from it upon occasion.... that's what happens when you start taking an addictive drug before you're even a teenager, I guess)
Bahh, your all wrong. The first true gateway drug is Pixie Stix. I mean brightly colored, flavored sugar. Gives a quick rush and buzz, but the comedown can be harsh, so many will constantly re-dose until they run out. Next thing ya know, spending all your allowance on 'em, stealing change out of mom's purse, making deals with the ice cream truck guy. It's a hard and terrible thing to see, a six year old strung out and going through withdrawals. Just say NO to sugar.
You guys are all fucked up. The main gateway to harder drugs is not weed - it is oxygen. My research has found that almost 100% of stoners started on oxygen. Also, beware of swallowing small amounts of saliva over long periods - it causes cancer.
you're all wrong.. it's spinning in circles.. remember when you were a kid and you thought it was so awesome to spin around in circles get dizzy and light headed... so technically you can blame the mary-go-round for being a gateway drug
that argument is so fucking old and tired. if it was my dog i would have taken it out back and shot it long ago
I think that alcohol does more damage than pot. That said, the problem with pot is that it is illegal, so the people selling it are also (usually) selling other shit. So there is the exposure to harder drugs and the offers and temptation. But I don't believe that it is the pot that is to blame, it's the stupid law. If people could buy pot at the liquor store, there would be no connection to harder drugs.
lol. i dont even give a shit about it now. woohoo growing up! i started when i was 15, and i have never done harder drugs (i only did shrooms once, and didnt trip, but i wouldnt consider that a harder drug) i rarely get drunk, and when i do im still in control of my actions, not black-out or anything like that.
