I.had always thought that when you miss an IV you were shit out of luck and it was completely wasted. Therefore skin popping as a method was rediculous. but I readyesterday that running hot water over the site of the miss would make your body absorb it. Was wondering if anyone heard of this working//had experience with this working ? Thanks for the help guys.
Yeah try not to miss any more shots. Depending on the substance, im guessing your talking about H, you can run hot water over it and some will adsorb. It really sucks when you miss a shot of coke, whole arm swells and goes numb, super unsightly....
I don,t know about the warm water thing helping. Back in late 70,s I was booting H and thruout 80,s I,d snort and boot coke, never got into crack. I,ve missed a couple times with both and the coke by far burnt the worst. Back then the bump it left when you missed was called a dope abcess and rumor was that if it didn,t go away on its own dr. would have to cut into it. i,d get them now and then when I screwed around and kept pumping it. What I mean by that is once I,d get a flag I should have just injected it and pulled out works instead of drawing in and out several times thinking I was prolonging the rush. In doing this I,d eventually move tip around and miss the vein. I did not do this with H, only with coke and crystal meth. I don,t get high that way anymore. I don,t do either one of those 2 things. I have a legal script that I get filled every month for pain and I gotta admit that I end up taking too many and run out, luckily a coworker sells them and my gf has a script and we share. If your gonna shoot your drugs don,t keep hitting the same spot. eventually I couldn,t get off in my arms anymore, my veins were shot. Up to this day when they have to draw blood at docs or hospital they will use veins on top of my hands and use a smaller needle. Its been allmost 30 yrs. since I,ve gotten high that way. You would think the veins on my arms would have come back. They havn,t. Please be careful. Enjoy!!
It's not wasted in any way whatsoever. Since I had blown out all my veins and hadn't started using my neck yet when I used to pick up and If I were sick I wouldn't even bother looking for a vein and would just stick and shoot. You'll be all better and if you did enough nice and high in like a few minutes. No hot water necessary haha.
