They are not Christians... that is the point

Actually, no one should feel any pain by anyone who knows God. Besides.... someone who knows God, knows, "Thou shall not kill."

Sorry, but you know absolutely nothing about me. All you have made are assumptions that hold no truth. You have no clue as to what views I hold, other than those that focus on faith.

If you claim to believe in God and the bible, I have all I need to know about you, hon.

It's all preposterous gibberish to me, so I see those who believe in it as fools. They may be nice, well-meaning people, but I can't get far past the idea that they are fools for a ridiculous belief system.

According to posts that have been made, others have seen you in the same light. Which is why making assumptions is quite absurd.

All religions contradict themselves. and quoting verses from the bible isnt actually supporting your statements, thats like if i called you stupid and you asked why, i just said "because i said so, and so does this piece of paper", it being in a book doenst suport it at all. Spiderman has been in books but hes not real, and neither are jesus or god. scientists, when they explain their statements, they prove it with the scientific method n such.

And more scientists are atheists than believers.

You just can't get very educated and stay believing in God. It doesn't work. Knowledge and logic won't let you.

In my major (Psychology), there are more theories than actual concrete evidence, and the same with a lot of scientifical aspects.

Yeah, quoting the bible as proof really just works against you... You make think you're making a point, but to me it just makes you sound ignorant... I hate to say it, as you usualy seem like a nice person and all, but I just cannot stand fanaticism...

Did you mean "faith IN psychology"?

That's different from faith in some invisible yet all-powerful being in the sky who created everything that exists with no effort at all and judges all mankind and blah blah blah...

I have faith that my car will get me from point A to point B. But that's BASED on something: It's based on my certain knowledge that I have maintained the car, the tires are not worn, I have filled it with fuel, the engine is in good working order, the roads are well constructed...

Not at ALL the same thing as faith in religion and god. Faith in psychology -- observable behavioral characteristics and patterns -- is more like my faith in my car than your faith in your god.

Psychology is not so concrete, it's more speculation... Sort of like your religion, except psychology is at least observable and has somewhat of a basis in reality...
