Are there any magazines you like to read? Are they worth it in the age of the internet where so much reading material is free? It seems like many of the better ones are quite expensive -- almost as much as some books. There are a few magazines I like to read, but my favorite is MOJO, which is a music magazine from the UK that features articles on both old and new band/artists, including a lot of lesser known ones. Plus, each edition comes with a free CD.

Magazines used to be toilet entertainment, but now laptops have taken over.

Unless you don't own a laptop, magazines are worthless.

When i worked the graveyard at safeway, sometimes on break employees would sit in the magazine ile and read them. I could not believe how much some of them cost.. $6 $8...wtf you serious...

I love it when the Cosmo magazines say

"100 ways how a man thinks in bed" written by some lady.

Ill tell you right now that Lady dont know shit..

Back in the mid to late 90s I read: http://selectmagazinescans.monkeon.co.uk/
All (well, most of them) you see there I have in my basement in plastic containers.
It used to give away free tapes o_O - I still have a few of them.

    Island Records, Cassette, 1993
Stereo MCs: Everything (sabres on main street remix)
    Nine Inch Nails: Wish
Ice Cube: U ain't gonna take my life
    Starclub: Bad machine
    Freestyle Fellowship: Innercity boundaries
The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy: California über alles
    U2: Salomé (Zooromancer remix)
    PJ Harvey: Hook
Dodge City Productions: As long as we're around (say you hear dis mix)
Sheep on Drugs: Flaming church of baby jesus
Apache Indian featuring Shaggy: Chok there (Livingston lik)
    The Cranberries: Put me down
    I don't read magazines anymore.
I would not read music magazines anymore - although MOJO isn't too bad - perhaps a little pretentious.

I only read magazines at the dentist waiting area. They are pretty irrelevant in this wonderful age of information.

I like magazines to keep up to date with some gadgets and trends, mostly computer hardware reviewing and ordering magazines.
Sometimes I find pleasure in reading things without light beaming directly into my cornea

I think the only time I actually read a magazine is if I'm sitting in a waiting room.
