Do you imagine a voice and accent when you read posts?

In other words, do you make up a voice and accent in your mind if you read posts from certain users?

 

no....more of a just picture of their face.

which if someone later posts a real picture of themselves never looks anything similar to what I imagined, lol.

 

no. they speak in the generic voice inside my head. its not even particularly male or female, as i seldom bother to try to determine which, anyone on the net, might happen to actually be.

and that is, i don't even always give the words a voice at all. if the words paint a picture, that is how i see. NOT a picture of them, but of what they are saying.

Only one I can think of is Roamy...cause sometimes she types words that phonetically illustrate her Irish accent, like using 'ta' instead of 'to'...

Yes I remeber I while back, when some people put audio up. Even some of the Americans, I imagined to have English type accents (in terms of my mind's eye ). Then it emerged they had really strong Southern drawls and stuff. It was quite funny.

Other people have weird accents in my head

 

I do when they use words that we rarely use in u.s., like knickers, or words that we don't use, like natter or other British words. Also if I know they are German I do.

 

I do for some people, who I feel have very distinct personalities.
