    As posted on the BMEzine news blog on March 15, the BMEzine founder, Shannon Larratt, is dead.

    He was an icon of body modification and certainly a publisher of the "extreme" and passionate believer in bodily autonomy and freedom of expression. He will be missed.

    So sad, alot of my friends are very sad about it.. He was an icon to alot of people.
