Psychedelic Bump XXI

Leaving tonight to drive to boulder with a few friends. Should be fun. I've only been to boulder for a few hours at a time with family so this should be a pretty fun time exploring and seeing more of what's to offer. I'm stoked.

 

Bump for possibly as few as 3 days left at this miserable corporate waste hole. :sunny:
I haven't even gotten close to deciding what the next step will be but can't wait. Hoping a happy holidays as well. 4/19 and 4/20 that is.

ahhhh..body is sore from playing in a soccer tournament all day lol. Was tons of fun tho! Tomorrow may be worse ha...but we've been getting some beautiful weather here for this time of year! Supposed to get up to 60 degrees again tomorrow

I got to talking about it in another thread and I am thinking how I'd enjoy to explore some more 5-meo-mipt... No other responses And I got some insomnia going on here so ill say some more about it.

I have said myself it's like MDMA but its kind of a surface comparison. 5-meo-mipt at the doses I took it at (~10 mgs) mostly provided light 'trips.' I know you mentioned something like MDMA felt 'confining,' I think I relate to that somewhat and 5-meo-mipt doesn't really have that feeling. It's stimulating for me, so I tend to want to do something on it but I feel like I could easily enjoy it at a coffee house just as much as a rave. Ive since done aMT a couple times as well at moderate doses, the closest tryptamine experience ive had to it. 5-meo-mipt feels more fluid than aMT, but its not as automatic in producing a mood lift.

The music enhancement for 5-meo-mipt is off the charts! It creates such unique perceptions of music that I have not really experienced on anything else. That is probably the primary reason I want to explore it again, as I had not been recording music when I had previously taken it. Erotic qualities are pretty great on it too as I'm sure you're aware of. But 5-meo-mipt is probably not a trip for spiritual experiences in and of itself at the doses I've tried it at.

Spicey Cat suggested it can be fairly profound at higher doses.

Life is driving me crazy right now. Wish I had time to trip soon...I feel it would sort my head out about some stuff.

Job stuff, girl stuff, roommate stuff, car worries, money stuff, LIFE stuff.

BUT I know I will get through it all in one piece, maybe learn some things...and enjoy the ride when I can.

In the absence of availability of heavier trips, weed will do nicely for headspace and thinking time.

I've always been fairly secretive about my work due to certain aspects of my lifestyle and their ability to literally ruin a career.
As of 5 hours ago that is one step closer to not being an issue. For now, I'll just say that I am officially unemployed after 21 years with that so-called outfit and my life has opened up in way's I couldn't have ever imagined. For a week or so I should be discrete, but needless to say I'm a few nice beers into it, about to fire up a bowl to go with the Aes Dana and Shpongle i've been cranking.
My best friend of nearly as long as my career, who appears to be becoming a romantic partner, invited me over for a grapefruit margarita to toast the end of this 2 decade love/hate relationship with one of the most dysfunctional corporations on the planet.

I only hope that I'm going to have to balls to step up and make this the best years of my life.

So yeah, bump for retirement.

Tomorrow, I go down the road for the second saturday of a volunteer project I've been involved in, making my neighborhood a prettier place. Then off to party with my ex boss out in the country at his best bud's annual spring soiree. Home brewed beer, a bit of ganj, and a whole wild boar, bbq'ed luau style.
