I stopped playing a few years ago, but now that I have more free time on my hands I hit up Battlefield 3 from time to time. A bit hard to master for the casual or less than casual gamer.

That's one of the main reasons I hung em up.

I live in an apartment complex, and the only time I see kids outside is when they get on or off the bus. I lived in an era when video games exploded onto the market, but we still played outside more.

I can also trace a lot of "never getting shit done or dating much in highschool" to video games. Something I regret a little. I think they can if started playing at too early an age stunt social skills that are needed in the job market.

My dad had an Intellivision! He'd never let me try to hook it up, though.

This game Kaboom was the funnest Atari game I played.

You moved the twisty nob paddle and caught those bombs. It took a lot of quick reflexes and motor skills.

don't play them much anymore but always respect someone that ain't too proud to game, or talk about/admit they like video games.

which hoe, the undercover? yeah, she was a pretty big hoe.

although you really don't spend that much time/effort on her in the main story, only if you decide to actually take her on dates.

My first was a simple Pong game, circa 1975.
But for the last 20 odd years it has been PC games 100%.
As to what type of games I like, I like all different genres with RPG's and RTS games being my favorites.

A list of the games I've played would be far too long to post here, so just suffice it too say that in the last 20 years if a game got a score of 80 or better in PC Gamer magazine, I've played it.
If it got a score of 90 or better I own it.
I have found over the years that PC Gamers reviews of games are spot-on and I generally agree with their assessments.

The Elder Scrolls series is one of my all time favorite game franchises.
Just started playing Skyrim a week or so ago, I'm totally sucked into the game now :p........
that reminds me, what day of the week is it?

you know it's bad when you start dreaming about the game world, LOL!

I was really hooked fast when I started that game :p After you get near Riverwood with your fellow survivor of Helgen and see the ruins of Bleak Falls Barrow below and you get slowly drawn into the world and it's lore and stuff I just wanted to know and see more and more and more  :D And I was not dissappointed. I love it when they get so deep into the lore, history and current state of affairs in a gameworld.

I think games really helped me. I was mad when I was 12 because we had moved and I lost all my friends. At first I was mad at everyone but then Halo 1 came out. I started to play with my little brother and we got into the game. Then his friend up the road came to play. Then later when we were in the garage with the door open playing a guy up the road from my house came by with his brother. He was more my age and soon we were all playing. It was after that I started hanging with him and meet more kids my age to game with.
Even now my brother and the guys still get together almost every week to play on xbox or in person. Those guys are all like my brothers so for me video games really helped me out.

different strokes for different folks. there is a problem with there not being enough real diversity of what seems to sell though.

Lodog, when do you get the Ninja class cards? In Chapter 2? I'm right before the alignment decisive and I'm hype that I don't have a ninja yet.
