Another Nelson post: large bust rumored.....

Hey I was just on Saltspring and this kid told that last weekend 100 American police officers and 40 FBI agents raided the koots and had roadblocks set up and everything. This sounds a lil unbelievable to me. Is there any1 out there in computer land that can confirm the rumour or tell me what a big fat lie it is? This kid said they were headed to Texata next and I'd like to warn those folks if theres any truth to the rumour.

 

I havn't heard about anything like that, but I did just hear that Holy Smoke shut down cause some reporter for the new yorker or something came in and wrote an article about how the nelson police turn their backs on the pot being sold over the counter there. Fucking shitty. I havn't been up their yet, so I don't know what else is happening, but today I noticed they were building something outside of it.
But about the bust, I think someone's blowing some smoke up yer butt

Just so you guys know. The smoke's still going. The part about the article was true, but I guess they decided they didn't want to close afterall which is wicked.

some guy from nelson. i think he used to write for the newspaper there. anyways, the book is really hyped up and talks about pot related crimes in the west, and i think that there are a few chapters about the koot's, maybe one chapter about the head shop in nelson. dunno, it's been a while since i had a look at it. most of it was very loosely based in fact~ it had a lot of half truths and lies in it.

Crystal - I just heard about that bust you were talking about. I guess it really did happened. Supposedly there was some big sting operation that happened at the fluid. The swat team came in and busted this huge coke ring or something. I think they arrested about 40 people or something. I forgot to post it when I heard it.

I'll come to Nelson sumtime I love it there and when i do I'll meet ya. Maybe we already have met, its a small valley.

 

I'll tell him for sure. It's not his kid's though. It's his girlfriends, Laci. It's the same chick that he got together with at Shambala a couple of years ago. She's really sweet. They always look so happy together... love's wicked.

No I am saying that that was rumored to have happened. I didn't think it was true so I checked it out and it was a big fat lie just as I suspected.
