Hey! Is anyone familiar with Burlington?? I live in MASS and Im taking my boyfriend to see Mike Gordon play with Benevento/Russo at the Higher Ground cafe and was wondering where the "cool" place to go in Burlington is? Are there any head shops, or just cool stores, restaurants.....etc. Please let me know anything, or any websites to check out perhaps. THANKS!!!!!!!!:)

Check out the church street marketplace, while you're there..... go to Full Tank (the best headshop EVER) and also check out the Peace and Justice Store.

I live in B-town. You really can't go wrong anywhere in town around Church Street. The new Higher Ground is a fantastic venue for a show - great sound, just a fantastic set up all around. Stick to the right side - usually there's plenty of room to dance down by the stage once you fight through the crowds to get over there. As for other bars to go to - 3 Needs is a nice quaint brew pub located on College Street just off Church Street and as for good eats - the Red Onion Deli is a fantastic place to go and the Burlington City Market Onion River Food Co-op is a fantastic natural foods store.
