I found a old book from when I was like 6 today. It was suppose to be a diary but it was more of a art book with lots of random drawings. I was flipping around and on one of the last pages was a picture of a little girl painting. It even said under it, "Me in Paris Painting." It made me think back to when I was little and wanted to be a world famous painter. I still love to paint and draw but my goals have changed. While I love art as a hobbie my goal now is to be a writer. But I was just wondering about other people. Like what was your big dream as a kid and if the dream has changed or if you every became what you wanted? :daisy:
There is no such thing as a dream job, because the meaning of dream in this context is antithetical to any job I can think of.
My little brother wanted to be a power ranger as a kid. =P I think that is a dream job. And one of the kids I baby sits says hes going to be a dinosaur when he grows up. When I said dream job I just met a job you use to dream of having or still do dream of having one day.
I remember wanting to be a superhero. I ran around my house with a little mermaid beach towel wrapped around my neck as a cape. It was so much fun. XD
The words "dream" and "job" do not belong in the same sentence. Unless you are at work dreaming about real life.
when i was young (up to about 16) i wanted to be a political cartoonist, but i fuckinghated art education, so i lost interest. now i dunno, but i think i want to write either for or about (critically or academically) film.

Probably a race car driver or something to do with a race team. More realistically though I pretty much have it as a courier. I'm my own staff. I'm on my own. I listen to music all day. And I'm driving all day. That's all win for me. The money isn't that great considering I have to pay my own business taxes etc but its still early days for me in the career and you can earn a bit once to move up the chain but I'm loving it and its so much better than what I've ever done.
You see some random ass shit too and often greeted at the door by hotties or go into government buildings and have a perv on office lasses. It's gold. But I just love being on the road.
The only frustrating thing is when you're on a deadline and you get traffic lights. Man you should hear the language I come out with, especially with lights where you know like 4-5 sets are going to go before yours. I can deal with slow cars because inevitably you'll be held up at a red light anyway and I'd rather coast around saving fuel but waiting 5+ minutes at a light is infuriating.
A blacksmith. There is nothing I'd love more than transforming old metal into something new over a burning hot forge.
Two at the top of my head: Musician - Never gonna happen because I play a guitar and god knows you won't get anywhere in today's world with an actual instrument. Dope Chef - I'd like my own restaurant where I can cook food with cannabutter.
