Curious about exploring with my friend

When I was about 17 I first had a gay experience with a close friend. He was already out but I had always fancied girls so I put it down to a skinfull of alcohol and thought no more about it.

Since then we have had a few times were we have messed around but it has never gone the full way. A few times it has been down to not having the privacy to take it further but other times it has been down to me false starting and getting embarassed.

I don't look at other men sexually yet I can't stop thinking about previous experiences we have had or possible future events. I have even sent him picture mails and had chat sex over google chat when i have had a few too many late at night. My friend lives abroad so we only see each other once or twice a year and I chicken out whenever he's over and make excuses. I want to go the way but I'm nervous.

Has any one else ever been in a situation like this? How did you handle it?

 

Man up - don't chicken out.

You want to do something with another consenting guy? What's stopping you? You being "nervous"?

Actually, you are simply afraid. What if you like this? What if other people hear about it? What if...?

A good thought here would be to overcome the narcissistic self here. If you really ARE bi or gay, you want to know this, and live your life in a happy and fulfilled manner. Chickening out of who you may or may not be is counterproductive.

Sure, being BI/gay or not totally str8 will usually give other people reasons to talk about you. They will do this anyway. Some will say that your present GF is cute. The others will say that she is just a slut. Then, some others will say that she is frigid, and yet some others will say that she has slept with the whole football team... People will always talk.

The sun will always rise in the east, and you will always have to pay your bills...
