Hey guys and gals, I'm a sax player who also plays clarinet. I haven't played clarinet in almost 8 months though, and I need to brush up on my fingerings, so does anyone know if I could find a good fingering chart online? I just want one for my reference, since it's been so long I don't want to get my sax fingerings and clarinet fingerings jumbled up :)

Also, does anyone know where I could find a cheap clarinet? I've already posted this twice around the forums, but I thought I'd get the best responce in here. The reason this keeps comin up si that I was asked to join a festival group that goes around wisconsin, with someon reading tarot, someone belly dancing, and someone singing, but they asked me to play clarinet! And I have one I can borrow, but one I can't have, so it'd be a lot easier for me to actaully *have* my own... And can anyone recommend a brand or style I could find cheap somewhere? Like under $100?

    Thanks guys :)

A clarinet under $100 probably wouldn't play. =P Or sound like complete crap. But try Ebay. They normally have some good stuff for cheap.

On the fingerings, just search on google "clarinet fingering chart" and you'll get a bunch of good ones.

yeah, you probably would want to spend at least $250 on a cheap clarinet. anything under that would not have a good sound, not even an OK sound... maybe you can go to a local music store and they may have rentals or something like that...

and like silver said above, just search google or something, i'm sure you can find charts online.

See, that's the thing. I've seen plenty of places were instruments like that can be foundd for under $100. Take a look on Ebay and you'll find great instruments for very little money. Only problem, I don't have an Ebay account. And when I have no car and bad foot problems, I'm not gonna be walkin to the nearest music store (3 miles) to spend money I don't have. I wish I could go out and buy a clarinet, I was mainly asking if someone knew where I could get a deal... An Ebay type thing.
