One more question. Should I swallow or just hold it?

So i have one more question on lsd. Do you get the exact same effect if you swallow it immediately rather then leaving it on my tongue?

 

Leaving it under your tounge is the effective sublingual route. Sub (below) lingual (tounge)

In regards to LSD, I've read mixed reports on there being a noticeable difference between swallowing it Oral vs Sublingual routes. The general advantages with many drugs taken via sublingual administration to oral administation is a boost in potency and faster onset. LSD is so dependent on set (mindset) and setting (enviornment) that the potency aspect will likely make little to no difference.

Although, I usually take LSD sublingual and hold it there for ~10 mins then swallow it.

 

I used to hold LSD for 10 minutes but then I tried just swallowing it right away and didn't find a difference in strength or even length of onset that way (stomach must be empty of course, no food for 3 hours before dropping minimum). It's also a good way to weed out the NBOME blotters, which usually HAVE to be held under the tongue to work.

 

i used to hold blotters in my mouth til they started to dissolve, but i've found no difference when i swallowed them immediately.

keep it in your mouth long enough to see if it's bitter. if not, you can just swallow it

 

the first bunch of times i held it under my tongue as well, but after swollowing them straight it really was the same basically. Same goes for mushrooms, I used to chew the shit out of them, but after i started just swollowing em straight the high actually was better because i didn't have to deal with the taste beforehand.

 

I hear that the only way for the nbome tabs to work is if it is held in your mouth and doesnt work if swallowed. Is this true?

 

When I saw the thread title I thought "Shouldn't this be in the sex forums?", but then I guess the question would be "Should I swallow or spit?"

I've dosed blotter, dots, liquid and once crystal.
I've held hits under my tongue, swallowed right away, put it in drinks, even got dosed when some spilled on my arm once, but the only route of delivery that I noticed made any appreciable difference in onset was four drops of liquid, two in each eye. First alerts were felt within 10 minutes, completely in-flight at about 30 minutes.
Don't know the why's and wherefore's of it, but have heard similar accounts from a few others.
Then when I spilled some on my arm the onset was delayed by about 20-30 minutes and was a slower build-up of effects, I have no idea how much I absorbed, probably around 200-400ugs.
(TIP, when handling liquid LSD, or any liquid or powder substances, PUT THE DAMN CAT OUTSIDE SO IT DOESN'T JUMP ONTO THE TABLE AND CAUSE YOU TO ACCIDENTALLY SQUEEZE THE DROPPER BOTTLE TOO HARD!!)


Also as Writer mentioned, how much food your body is trying to digest will make a difference as well, but if it's a difference in absorption of the chem or just the general slowing of metabolism when we digest food, who knows?

 

I have heard that having a slower metabolism will make it last longer and faster metabolism makes it last shorter.

 

I've wanted to try the eye drops one time but liquid is impossible to find.
Alot of people here suggested to not do it... you're saying it works without any damage to your eye?

 

At the time I was getting it regularly and the "chemist" managed to use de-ionized, distilled water as the solvent rather than ethanol which is easier and more frequently used.
When I dosed it stung a little, but nowhere near as much as drops with alcohol as the solvent burn, even still I doubt there would be permanent damage, it just stings like hell for a minute.

The LSD isn't going to do anything harmful to your eyes, and alcohol just burns, otherwise all those guys that get drinks thrown in their faces when trying to "get some" would be blind.

 

considering how hard it is to get anything other than blotter now, i doubt i'll have the opportunity to try. and if i did, i'd probably still stick to dropping on something better and less hurtful.
