Ok so i tried 4mg hydro IV and I'm interested to find out how many mg's of oxy it would take to get the same effect in the same route.. I have read that it takes a lot of oxy to = the same effect, just curious what you guys have to say about it.. Is it worth it to iv them or should they just be eaten b/c the oral bioavailability is much higher with the oxy than hm. Thanks in advance.
According to the converter I used, 4mg Hydromorphone IV is equivalent to 40mg of Oxycodone taken orally. That's considering a 25% reduction for incomplete cross tolerance. Yeah, but that's comparing IV use to just taking pills orally. Otherwise, the difference would be about 2.5-3.0:1, or 4mg Dilaudid to 12mg Oxy.
