Hey guys ! I live in Lisle, right by Four Lakes, I don't know if anyone knows that place ?!? Anyways, I'm going to graduate from High School this May and I want to start a new life after that. I can't bare anymore School and I don't want to start a boring career. I'm absolutely sure that if I do the same thing my parents and most of my peers did I'm not going to live a happy life. I want to travel with people that have similar thought. AND I KNOW PEOPLE HERE HAVE THESE THOUGHTS !!! I don't want to be trapped anymore ! So, I don't really have much of a plan. Basically I want to travel and live at some communes on my way. I also play the guitar and sing a little bit with wich I could make some money. So if any of you guys have some suggestions for where I should go, what to pack and stuff like that or maybe you would like to travel with me, please tell me. PEACE
Lisle, nice I live in Downers Grove not far from you! I'd suggest checking out www.helpx.net, I'll be doing some volunteer work this winter and hopping around a couple different countries (Japan, Philippines, Thailand) I'm not sure about this year but next year I might visit Dancing Rabbit, it's the closet ecovillage to IL, check it out at www.dancingrabbit.org

LOL, I live right down the street from DGN on the corner of Ogden and Fairview, I went there when I was younger but that was years ago! When I go to Thailand I'll probably be staying at a Buddhist monastery, my main interest is gardening but I enjoy any kind outdoor physical labor! Do you have any specific plans, I want to travel around the US but it won't be until next year since I want to visit Asia first. I'm pretty sure you're going to love Thailand, I've been there 4 years ago with my parents and it's absolutely beutiful !!! I'm just waiting right now for a reply from Dancing Rabbit and if they want me I'll probably stay there over the summer and then head towards Cali maybe when it's getting cold.
