Hello HipForums! I recently started exploring the Blue Lily (Nymphaea caerulea), and I just wanted to share it with all of you! Let me just start by saying, it's an absolutely relaxing and insightful herb. For me, it causes this extremely hyperobservant/creative/insightful state in which I analyze quite a lot, and notice all of the details. It's a great thing to use when working on something that requires a touch more of creativity! As far as the "best" way (at least to me) to take it, it really depends on where you are and what you're using it for. (Of course using just ground up leaf from your favorite enthobotanical distributor. As far as extracts, I prefer simply plain ol' ground up leaves, it seems more natural to me.) If you're relaxing at the end of the day before going to sleep, a nice hot tea of it works excellent. Whenever I'm working on something and using it for creativity, I generally like to vaporize/smoke (either in a joint/pipe) some, and possibly sip on some tea of it. Honestly either way works excellent. I'm considering putting some in a capsule and trying that as well. Another thing that I'm interested in is trying it at a festival, smoking some before I go, or while I'm there (depending on the size of the festival), and just sitting back, relaxing and listening to the music. Overall I think this is definitely something worth trying for everybody! This herb has every need one could possibly want from a frequent thing to use. It has a very mellow feel to it, and seems quite safe to me. It's great for creativity, it's relaxing, introspective, what else could one want in a frequent use herb? (Of course it's not really that comparable to a psychedelic, but still ample for frequent use) Hmm, I don't think you guys really need me to say this, but don't use it to "get high", I'm not sure you'll like it if that's all you're seeking. Have a beautiful day everyone :sunny:
Interesting, your reporting makes me want to seek it out. Perhaps use it as an alternative to alcohol and disassocioatives and other things I use for anxiolytic properties. I have tried to explore blue lotus once VIA a liquid tincture bit I only got a minimal effect.
