    Are we living in hell?

Don't you think we are? We are living in a world of pain and suffering. Freedom doesn't exist. We have to worry all time about things. Most life we suffer, we have problems. We live only for short happiness moments. You are sad, then you become happy only to become sad after a short time.

Buddhists were right. Nirvana is the best solution. Everything is trying to balance itself in nature. Nirvana would be perfect balance.

Nothing really matters. Nothing has a point. Whatever you do, you will die anyway. You are on earth just to die. You reach goals, you work hard, then you die and loose everything.
"Exegi monumentum" - seems like it is the only thing to cheer you up

Life is full of traps. You need to be carefull not to fall into any. You have to worry about not hurting others and yourself.

There are good things, things that will make you happy for some time. Those things are mostly unreachable for us. We try to achieve them and die trying.

Earth fits perfectly into describtion of hell.

You live not knowing. You don't know what will be after. You don't know anything.

I know that I know nothing.

It is hard to climb the stairs, but so easy to fall down.

    Wouldn't hell be a paradise?

All you have to do is suffer. Nothing more. You are free of everything. Just ethernal suffering. Wouldn't you get used to it?

    Ignorance is bliss.

You will find ot in due time though. Promised.

That means you know at least one thing.

So learn from your mistakes. Giving up is not an option for me.

It seems you're suffering already. And you want more?

Sure. If you like over-used one-liners.

It might be overused, yet it is true.

I always try to find the Nirvana in my life and focus on that.
It doesn't happen all the time.
There are bad things in this world but I wouldn't consider it Hell.
Hell is an imaginary land of fire or a seriously negative state of mind.
We all experience moments of "hell", it's when we try to find our personal Nirvana that makes us complete and happy!

you will find out in due time if you do find out you will just end up where you started again, this time not remembering you wanted to find out, or remember anything for that matter.
To me there have been far too many people born for me to believe in existance after death.
Has every soul always existed? Is there a realm where new souls are made?
Na its either exist or non existant, dead or alive, night and day.
It comes down to is it does not matter if we exist past death or not. To us death is the end and always will be. Even if we did miraculously live on its purpose would be defeated since we dont remember about our wish for an extra life. Mabey our soul will be stoked to simply be alive, but it will not make the tiniest bit of difference to anything whatsoever because life will live on either way.
Its all the same shit just one game no reset button.

    You've created your own hell.

Everything about the human experience is perspective. And happiness and sadness are only emotions. Emotions are part of the human experience also but they shouldn't define it.

sometimes people have everything and they are still sad. Some people don't have much but actively seek happiness in what they do have.

If you want freedom learn to unchain yourself from your emotions.

Existence, as is happiness, is a state of mind. It is ninety percent perception and only ten percent reality. You create for yourself the life you wish to lead.

ya more on topic i think the humans are fucking around the earth quite a bit so ya in time it will be living hell.
But its not super horrible right now, i dont think you meant that exactly tho.
I do agree with you on a lot man, about our very seemingly pointless lives, the memory and shit ya i covered that.
The thing about traps everywhere to look out for. It is good thing that is called challenge and improvement. Most people consider these things heaven.
And i saw through that happy then sad thing awhile ago. Yes up down up down. Thats just how the entire universe works. You gotta feel like shit one day to feel extra good another day. What i do is when i feel shit i just use my advanced thinking and go woww when im feelin dope its gna be heaven.
LOOKING FORWARD to heavenly experiences is what make life. Memories are priceless too but they kinda suck cause you cant relive it no matter how awesome u remember it.

  10. I agree. I don't think it has to be this way. It's taken a long time and a lot of suffering to get to where we are. I'm not sure that I buy that most people have a hidden darkness within them, but there are still people who cling to that. In the end, truth will have out, I think, and we'll keep ascending the ladder of freedom. Arthur M. Young wrote a pretty interesting book called The Reflexive Universe that kind of goes into this, theories about how everything evolves to attain greater freedom.

Though...maybe this is hell, because even freedom might end up just being a bore compared to all the fighting. Agh. But then again, it's not hell, because there's just too much really good stuff and people. I think Hell would have to just be a completely awful place.

we are living in a place that is no more a hell nor a heaven, then all of us together, by how we live in it, make the experience of doing so to be.

every world in which we might live one life or another, is itself a beautiful place. it us only ourselves, which together bring to it, whatever unbeauty it might seem to posses.

This depends on your point of view.

In one case, yes you are living in hell, but there's a way out of here if you try.

The other point of view is, Yes I am living in hell and there isn't a single fucking thing I can do about it!

it is still not a question of place, but of how people living there make it, statistically together, by how they live in it.

i don't mean individually each of us alone, can completely make it one way or the other. that's not how it works. but statistically, if you are surrounded by a culture, that regards things like aggressiveness and conventionality for its own sake as virtues, no belief nor ideology is going to change that. its the statistical consensus of all of us, of how all of lives, added up and averaged out, together, that makes a place seem like the way that it does.

it isn't unseen things or the place though. it is us. not alone, but all of us together.

not just this earth and this life either, but any place where anyone exists and experiences existing, would work that same way.

we are living in the statistical sum of how we (all of us, each individually, but statistically taken together) treat each other and everything else.

if this earth is anything less then what nature has given us, it is our own cultures and values and beliefs that have made it so.

any place where thoughtlessness is aggressive is its own hell.

it's not like this earth is locked into that condition. you know, there's no reason we can't stop making a hell out of it. even if we just completely left each other alone, we would be less making it one.

there's no intrinsically good or bad about it. the only thing intrinsic is diversity which is the full spectrum.

I saw a few interviews with passengers on the cruise ship that was without power in US a few days ago and they were going on about what a poor time they had and the food was pretty basic for a few days (they are going to be reimbursed and compensated) and I understand they were on a holiday etc etc but I thought maybe they could spare a thought for the millions of people who have no idea where their next meal is coming from let alone have a holiday....maybe some should put things in a worldy perspective.
