I didn't know whether or not this should go into the Spiritual category or not, so here I go :2thumbsup:. I've been thinking about this for a few months or so, ever since I first saw a photo of a mouse brain neuron, which looks almost exactly like our universe. Many people have seen it, one of you must've seen it it too. So then I sat there and thought for a few minutes about it, and I really had a mindfuck, but it could actually be possible. What if we all actually live in a higher power's brain? Everyone, everything, anything are just its thoughts, mere energy and electricity. Then I thought, what if inside our brains are billions and billions of microscopic universes, all containing a full, functional world and society like Earth. Crazy stuff.
as above, so below. We simultaneously contain, are, and are contained by, the universe at large. more to come.
Well we are all made of stars... but I don't know that that would mean we're all completely interconnected by way of a higher plane existence. More likely there's a stronger relationship between things on the quantum level and the cosmic level than we originally thought. There have been several strong parallels between the minutia and expansive, but in such a way as we can't make a direct connection...yet. E: After rereading your post, it sounds more like you're considering multiple dimensions, for which there are several varied theories about. Many espouse that our universe was created by the big bang which was it's self started by the catastrophic collapse of another universe before ours. Something to read into that may be of interest to you.
the universe appeared from nothing .. its only more the possible your universe can appear instantaneous too... Think..
The main problem with our universe being the mind of a higher power is total lack communication. Our neurons are simultaneously exchanging electrical signals with billions of other neurons every millisecond across our brain. With our universe it takes more than 26 billion light years for energy to travel across. It has also been expanding exponentially for the past 13 billion years so that number is slightly conservative. If the universe was a consciousness then the entire history of life on earth would pass in less than the blink of an eye in its perspective. Same as if there were actual worlds inside our neurons. Entire planetary lifespans would come and go in nanoseconds. Different levels of existence wold never be in communication or acknowledgement.
The speed of thought lies outside of the normal laws of physics; which begin to breakdown when confronted by this variable H
Mah, I reckon our minds are the different dimensions, and our different perceptions on "reality" are the dimensional differences. Once you get into one "dimension", anything can happen. Our common grounding for "inter-dimensional communication" is "reality", like waking up and going to school/work. Diagram using the almost-internet-phenomenon: Bob. ☻<--- Dimension 1 /▌\ / \ ☻<--- Dimension 2 /▌\ / \ Now I can't be assed making them stand next to each other, but imagine them saying hello to one another and exchanging thoughts and opinions - that being the "Inter-Dimensional Communication" bullshit. It's almost like a control to compare the differences. Unfortunately we're all stuck on a planet together so we can't compare more radical "dimensional differences" because we all relate to the control "Earth", but think about cultures that have been cut off from the rest of the world and have such massively different beliefs and perceptions - they haven't been grounded by global communication and have therefore differed. The more we disperse, separate and multiply, the more "dimensions" are created. And there's still an entire universe that could be occupied, and for our minds to be moulded into different "dimensions". Now in trying to put this together I've completely confused myself because I'm not sure if the point I've made was the one I originally set out to make, or even if I've made one at all... but I'm 75% sure I have and it is my main theory. I'll come back to it and check it later Edit: Ok, give me a week to fit DMT into this theory.
so are you just trying to say that if our universe was in the mind of a higher being than we probably wouldn't be able to communicate with it? i'll agree, but that doesn't mean it couldn't still be true, right? think about a bacteria. a single cell only lives for a few hours or days max. but since that is it's entire life span, if it had a consciousness, it would probably experience time much differently than we do. minutes for us would seem like days or months to a bacteria. so the light years that it takes for energy to travel our universe..to the supposed next universe that is the next "neuron" of this enormous being...these light years could be experienced by that being as a small amount of time. i'm imagining that this being would live a very long time. shit, maybe this is "god?"
Oh, I see; I can answer something here. There is no universe to me instead with a political value. There is only neghbour snitching.:afro:
i must be smoking out the same bowl cause that sorta stuff i have thought of us like a bloodcell or some tiny bacteria and our real lifespan is 1 day like a fly
Despite what we hope to achieve for other, the emphasis always seems to be on the self - maybe we are all Universes of numberous distinctions, focal points and individual philosophies - taking to it's next step suggests that we are all Unuverses within Universe and then there is that which lies both within and without of our imagination - maybe that's why Space and all that is therin (and thereout) is infinite? * Cosmic * :2thumbsup:
How could we not be able to communicate with it if we are it? We'd be a part of the tiny electrical impulses flowing through the neuron. But do you really think there are planets inside of neurons? If they were there and were of comparable size compared to us and the universe's axons, we probably wouldn't be able to see us, either. But we can see atoms in neurons. So is there something comparable on the grand scale to an atom?
yeah maybe the Galaxy we live in is a cell or whatever, i can believe that and thought similar things. i think the universe is a physical manifestation of the invisible Creator and we are the created and because of this we are like copies or fractals (we are Creators image just like Mother Nature is and maybe that mouses cell is just a small fractal of what the Bigger Fractal is...) of different parts of the universe.... we all do come from the stars biologically, then we have the invisible breath of life in us. idk anyone feeling me? lol
call it spirit, or call it pre-cado hand sign carved in flint. the problem with anything that does not end well, is that reality does not end at all. humanity may end earth may end but reality just keeps on and on, no matter what.
rather than defining this as the lonely philosophy, solopsism, I prefer to think of it as the SOULipsist hivemind!
