I tested negative for HIV this evening. I hadn't been tested since last year and it was a bit nerve-wrecking. I tried bringing a childhood friend along (she is my confidante and sexually adventurous like me), but she had to take care of the kids. I was scared to get tested alone, in case something went very wrong. When did you last get tested? How often do you test? How do you feel? Do you bring someone along?
I had myself tested in the past. My friend would go with me, and the result was always negative. I have not been tested in years due to the fact that I have not engaged in sex in years.
i had a scare one time. a very bullshit situation. but i came out negative. i was actually in the middle of a really bad trip when i got tested, initially. i convinced myself after that i was probably positive afterwards too, since i figured being high while testing fucked with it. negative again. freaked me the fuck out tho.
