    I think I need one...

    8 months on a 45 000 word novella = not healthy...

8 months of intense dedication, going over minutia. Not over minutia like commas or stuff like that, but the normal things, dialogue, flow, etc. I'm just too terrified to show it to anyone, even though I have someone in publishing willing to look at it, and three people he's willing to give it too. Maybe I fear embrassment?

If there is an over-editing support group I want to join :). My book would be finished if i wasn't so fussy about the editing part.

The little mouse reads this and offers her advice. "Best leave the editing to another and be done with it. One needs a second pair of eyes either way to find the faults one overlooks after reading the same work of ones own hand several times."

("...can you adapt it to a forumland readership..." asked the goblin, adding "...if not, you are only going to be read by 3% of americans at best, the one's who still read books/ebooks that is, so come and write with us awhile, I'm sure readers here would like to know how you write by you using your writingstyle in your posts directly, after all more readers on forumland than most elsewhere...")
