i think one of the weirdest i heard would be pink floyd-several species of small furry animals

a lot of the shit off Mr Bungle's first two albums is just weird as hell... that being said it depends on what you mean by 'weird,' everyone has different ideas of weird... I listen to a lot of stuff that most people would probably consider 'non-musical' and to many that would be beyond weird, but to me idk I tend to think something that doesn't have any context is weirdest, and noisy stuff well there's a lot of it, so it makes more sense to me than some mash of disparate styles and shit... just really depends... there's so much music too and so much is so deliciously weird, just really a difficult question to answer for me

 

Anything by Charles Ives. Avant Garde Classical. Had a piece based on The Fourth of July, where each member of the orchestra was in a different time signature. Ionization by Edgard Varese, percussion orcherstra with siren.

dissonant accordion playing paired with Jim Mcarthy going `doo doo dee ooo ooo ooo`for 2 minutes before breaking down into a laughing/ crying fit

 

Same here, but I remember one of the first times I listen to that Pink floyd song and yes, that one stays really really intensely weird hehe. Also, Brainticket - brainticket part one comes to mind here :biggrin:

"Peaches" by Presidents of The United States of America. They were a 2 hit onder they also did lump. They were a total gimmic band. One guitarists only had 2 strings the other guitarist only had 3 strings. That is the type of shit I would've done when I was 9.
