Undisputedly two of the coolest old hippies in the current music scene. I really like the stuff JPJ did with Them Crooked Vultures and I like this. Where has he been all these years since the daze of Led Zeppelin? First album Seasick Steve has done with a bass guitarist too (not that he needed one but it does proved a more rounded sound which I think was missing from his earlier stuff). I think that might be olhippie54 playing on the drums.. not sure I think she loves me but I don' know why https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iw02OGddhD8 You can't teach a old dog new tricks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IFk3hTZmm4 Interview with Jools Holland https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pydbkpo737U (WHY ARE THESE NOT EMBEDDING!!!) Jools Holland was frickin awesome last time, they had The Monkees on it, Staff Benda Billili (who's album I had like two years ago... aherm) and a whole bunch of other stuff.
Seasick Steve is great, yeah! Excellent raw blues rock stuff I'm incapable of enjoying Them crooked vultures though, it does not appeal to me in any way.
i've watched those clips about a dozen times this week :sunny: that's teh music that just makes me tingle in all the right places
