What are your thoughts on it? Love it or hate it?

Yeah, it's kind of an acquired taste, and the stuff you buy at the store for $3.50-4.00 a bottle tastes a lot better than the kind that's made at home, but I quite like its tart flavor and effervescence, though sometimes am put off by its dirty feet-like aroma. It contains a lot of good probiotics which are good for the digestive system, as well as the immune system. They also provide a nice, natural burst of energy.

So have you ever had kombucha, or even tried to brew it at home? What are your thoughts on the taste, health benefits, etc.?

I've grown it at home and gave away babies. I don't guess I liked it that much. Also, I got kind of freaked out about how to dispose of it. I heard horror tales of it growing in septic tanks and sewer systems.

its just ice tea..but i think some kind of mushroom grows in it..then the medicine cleanses your system..see it flying off the shelves at the health food store...very popular like the coconut juice craze..at the store i know you can bring your own film fermented jug and get refills.im going to try it when i feel toxic from cigarettes.
