The intense media blitz for pharmaceuticals in the U.S. will probably be looked back on as a little unusual. There was a time when the TV airwaves were not permeated with ads for pharmaceuticals, many portrayed to the public in an infantile, sophomoric manner.

The current era of corporate influence and the increasing staggering differences in CEO and worker salaries in the U.S. is another. People decades from now will probably look back on it the way we now reflect on the age of monopolies that occurred around the 1900 era.

Expressing annoyance about getting too frequent whatsapp messages. Also of course, messaging each other via the phone when you're in the same room for no particular reason. Ah well, who am I kidding right, it might as well become the norm...

I was going to say that until I realized it could go either way...Reality tv could be even more prevalent

 

The craze of putting high fructose corn syrup in everything. There was an era in the U.S. when this stuff was nowhere to be found.

People a hundred years from now will look back at the obesity epidemic and point out that a few intelligent people tried to set things down a better road but got overruled by the corporate and ideological interests.

 

The aliens are going to be surprised and a little overwhelmed to see what humans have been doing here on earth. Violence and greed will be a thing of the past. This is light years away though.
