sticks rock on, gotta love ol' faithful nag champa and also swagas sandal that is beautiful, each to their own.
My favorite stick, by a mile, is called nag champa agarbatti, I think. It comes in blue boxes with red seals, and is from India. I love it.
they make different types of inscence's? the only ones i actually ever seen to be honest is the stick kind. The only time i can smell insence is at other peoples house, my mom doesnt allow me to light them
whenever I burn cones, I always end up burning my stupid inscence holder. I haven't figured out exactly what to burn the cones on yet.
I think if you put sand under them (cones) in a ceramic pot, that should fix the problem. I like stick incense, although it can be a bit messy. I love Nag Champa and Patchouli, but there are a few brands that have really nice special blends.
I do not burn incense...i used to....i prefered stick back in the day Now i think incense is tooooooo smokey and tooo stinky.... it gives me a headache. i now prefer oil burners...no smoke involved... i like to burn lavender and rosemary oils...
they also make powder incense...it's pretty neat...but i agree w/ ur mom..i will not allow incense to be burned in my home either...it gives me a headache and makes my nose and stuff run...
ROFLMAO I like Noam Chomsky, too! I love copal on a charcoal................. yes, incense that is REAL and FULL and NATURAL. I also use stick incense, but I avoid anything that is not stored in a sealed container. I have made stick and cone incense commercially with friends, and it all depends on the oils. Good oils make good sticks. Champa is good, look for a version in a red packet and another in yellow. Much better than the blues. (i'm out or I'd have the full names)
I use either the giant rose sticks or some Indian kind >< But I haven't had any since Sept. so I can't remember the name.
I only wear and put all over my house is Patchulie and that suff is the best and will always be so I suggest everyone has to get some heehee if not get some for me if ya wanna be nice.
I only burn stick incense. Nag Champa (the original in the blue box ~ made by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya) or Super Hit (made by the same company).
nag champa for sure, sometimes sandlewood is nice as well, but nag champa is light and mellow, my favorite. to the sister with the patchouli, be carefull with that, it attracts some strange energies, especially from men. You may want to mellow it with some lavender or something.
oh man I absolutely love love love nag champa! my other favorites are lavender and chamomile, they are very calming.
I prefer the stick by far, the cone is too smokey and doesn't smell as good. I adore Nag champa inscence!
