ive gotten word that john price a disgruntaled ex captain who ditched a few of our kids on a farm in va has been sending emails concerning the tribe.. please fwd any of these emails to me as i am considering a liable suit. johns been banned in the past from the forums, removed from other blog sited... the dude may have issue on our organisation... tjough its complely b.s to be pulling this crap. my appologies to anyone who has recieved these slanderous private messages. if need be ill direct you to many many alumni to discount his foolish alegations. not everyone clicks in these kinda scenerios... this is a prime example of the downside to communal living. peace

the kitchen is filthy & there's a big screen tv, mostly used to play frikkin' guitar hero..

it ain't lookin' good, because guitar hero & smokes & beer are the first things on everyone's mind..

amazing.. just amazing...

so, i'm to drive his car to get his kids, and he's so close to hammered he doesn't want the teachers to see him..

i'm also the gasoline provider..

the warning lights are now going off...

we get the kids, come home & he consumes more beer..

i figure we'll give it a little more time before i fire the retrorockets, but i can smell stuff burning up on reentry, already...

the next morning, about which we had previously talked & talked & talked & talked & agreed to go check out the bus, he won't get up..

he's awake enough to bark at the kids, but then goes back to bed, pulls the covers over his head and passes out for the next several hours.. in the meantime there is this stranger (me) with his kids (one of whom is a toddler & the others 5 & 7), who need breakfast, although there's no suitable food for them in the scrap strewn cabinets or the filthy frikkin fridge...

apparently the girl (7) is used to keeping an eye on the other two, despite the typical sibling arguments that can arise, so i decide to scrable out & get them something decent to eat.. fruit, cereal teething biscuits, baby food.. there wasn't even *milk*..

now.. this is a low income group, no food for the kids, but hey.. there were *other* cases of beer & plenty of smokes at **$10** a pack..

jesus..


after the kids are fed, drew & crew finally emerge..

i don't even know what the hell happened next..right.. right.. we had to drop the kids *off* at school * daycare, with me behind the wheel, again, because of drew feeling shaky.. fortunately mom is picking them up..

sooo.. he'd not going to look at the bus today, but he wants to talk to "tribe" about who's going, etc etc etc...

sooo... he's not gonna look at the bus & i say "look, if we're gonna have this big tribal meeting, maybe * i * should go look at & make sure it's something i want to buy...

so i drive the hour out to the bus, & it looks ok... i leave a note, etc.. & head back to the house..

now, from the way he had been talking, it sounded like he **KNEW** the people we were going to buy the bus from...
i mean, he said they were asking 2,500, but he was **SURE** he could get it for 1200, because he knew them well enough to negotiate it..

plus he was telling me specifics about the bus, etc., etc., etc...

i get back & ask him i left the note, mentioning his name & he say.. dig this.. he says.. "no.. i don't know them.. the guy's name is joe? ok.. i've only talked to them once (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) about the brake problem..."

at this point i throw the ignition switch, but i want to see who is going to show up..

i'm in the pilot's chair again, to pick a few people up.. it sounded like 4-6, but was only 2.. oh god.. right..
yeah.. so as we're driving, he passes out in the passenger seat.. literally passes out, not just asleep..

the only thing keeping me on is that i'm hoping folks show up, & maybe with some alternative personnel, I can change things around..

well.. we head just across from toronto, pick up his two pals, & ..

anyways..

this one poor fellow left his backpack on the ground & we drove away.. about 4 minutes later, he realizes & we u-turn back.. it's gone.. his id, benefits card, bus pass, etc.. everything.. it's gone.. we check the stores, drive up & down the street.. so he's like "drew, i need to go home.. i won't be able to think about anything else & my apartment is the only place i can do anything about it.." & drew, repeatedly, is like "man.. you should come! i've got a band coming and there should be all sorts of tribe there" & after the 4th time he says this, i'm like "drew? he *has to get to his place.."

& we head back.. i have a single $10 bill in my pocket...
between the beer, the groceries & the gas i have been putting in, i have shelled out about $200 in good faith..
we are on *empty*.. the gauge is *flatlined* & we're at least 35 miles from the house.. i'm like "drew? we need gas, big time.." & his attitude is like "how much do you have" & i tell him $10, & he's like "get smokes!", he tells me this *three* times, & i'm just waiting to get back to the house, pretty well much to leave...

as i try to explain what i'm hoping to work on to his buddy, drew decides to make some loud phone calls from the passenger seat...

i wish there had been a frikkin' eject button... so i just shut up, & let it go...

anyways..

i asked where he was, because it was time to tell him, but of course after having more beer he decided to have sex with his girlfriend & pass out again, upstairs..

& i feel shitty, but at this point?

i just say to everyone "look.. i'm sorry, but i have to go.."

& that is the end of it...

time from the 1st door opening to the last closing?

36 hours.

total $ wasted on the trip (except for the kids)?
at least $500..

include the $1000 i sent him to help him out, and as a good faith gesture?

fifteen fucking hundred dollars..


& oh yeah....at some point in this whole freaking nightmare i remind him that i have to bid on a van in VA & i have an hour to do it in.. of course we miss the deadline.. anyways.. i don't even remember why...

well didnt read much of johns thread iwonder whos been pming those reading. when i met him in 2010 i was building multiple buses a.d at the time my wife had just left and i was drinking heavily. what hes said about my kids are completly false though ive already dealt with those issues 3 years ago... hes not the first disgruntled tribe... wont be the last . though tbose who are dissgruntled are a minimum to those who are greatfull for the jurney we create.


the new bus we are creating is a kitchen bus. we will be providing food for those on.need threwout o.tario as well as maki.g our way to the international gathering feeding those we can on the way. for the first time we have financial backing by.local churched... altbogh tribe itself hold no ties to any one faith... we are serving others a.d by doing so we line up with the wa.ts of these churches.


this bus for the earlier part will consist of building and doi.g trial runs threwout ontario (bigger then texas) after we will venture to different provinces and states.. not the typicsl trans continental tour weve done in the past.

if your down with the cause... same rules are in effect.. no drugs.. no violence we share everythi.g. i nor any driver ever holds tribe money as there is no one person in power this is a comunity effort.


we have had others who dont like what and how we fo things... please read the older threads.

we embrace and try to grow from our own individual faults... wete all human. john annoys me as he has always been vindictive... i guess it makes him feel powerfull. myself... i dont want any.power nor mo.ey... just todo what i do best... organise s.d build community and buses...have for a decade...and no im.not perfect...

 

though i have no interest in creating an online battle... the short and gritty was john came looki.g for a bus.. i found him a great one i was confident i could talk down to 1200 the present bus was listed for 2500 i picked it up for 600.

dude shoulda let me do what i do...

as for my kids... my son lives with me full time he atte.ds a private school in rural ontario. he has behavioral issues as to why hes livng with me. i spank my son. he has made leaps a.d bounds of growth since living with me. his mom rarely takes him and theres alot of attention and love that he needs and is getti.g from me. c.a.s has investigated he still lives with me.

saying a bunch of bullcrap online cause it makes you feel better is low... bringing kids into it... well thats dissgusting. my son fears his moms nieghborhood cause theres gangbangers a.d viole.t kids there.

thanks john/ iwonder for tryi.g to hurt my child. i hope you find peace....somewhere i.sise of you...or maybe the sudan...

do not try and quote small bits of what I have said and turn them into essays to better suit your personal side of an argument/issue with Drew. I have said to both of you now I don't want any part of anyone's personal drama. $1000 is standard donation from anyone looking to join THC. I only ever gave Drew 200 us dollars which is only like 189 in ca. So IF I was getting back up with THC I would still need more donation to the bus and crew. I strongly disagree with calling him or ANYONE for that matter an abusive parent on a public forum, site etc. For the record it was not my experience that he was abusive towards Elias his 7yo son. I did not meet the other two children. Drew was nice to me and drove me back to the greyhound himself when I needed to go home due to personal matters going on in his family. I agree with his decision on that, actually. I think the fact that he put his kids custody and family issues before trying to raise bus money etc in it's self says a lot about his character.

To anyone curious about THC talk to blinkin yourself and IWonder and make your own unbiased opinion. I have no qualms with either of them. Period.

And yes for the record, blinkin/Drew's son Elias does attend a private school, was always fed, paid attention to etc while I was with them. I also think it was wrong for IWonder/John to bring personal issues up on a public format especially while trying to implicate other people onto one side. PEACE, MOFO's!
