Questions Regarding my first trip (a very bad trip)

It's been a while since I did LSD for the first time, and I have never done any big doses because of that experience. It all started with me and my friends going to a trip in vacations to a friend's farmhouse just to have some fun. First night was fine, we drank a lot and smoked lots of weed but nothing out of the ordinary, on the second night around 6 of us (there were 14 of us in total) had a full hit of LSD, others were, drinking, smoking weed, and some doing coke.
For the first couple of hours everything was fine, we were dancing around the fire, drinking, laughing, etc, but then it started raining so we had to go back inside, i had a guitar in my hands and was playing madly, everyone started to settle down except for me, i kept playing, and jumping around and shouting "dont stop the party!", everyone was just laughing at first but some friends (particularly the ones in LSD) were starting to notice i was getting kind of out of hand (which i really was) so they told me to settle down, I kept shouting "dont stop the party" and jumping and shit, until a friend of mine put his hand on my shoulder and told me to calm down, I punched him in the face destroyed the guitar and ran away. Obviously everyone freaked out at that point, i was shouting and running around and I took my clothes off, they tried to catch me but i kept running until i left the farm (and cut myself with a barbed wire i the process) , everyone panicked (for obvious reasons) but i came back to the house. At that point no one dared get close to me, i had cuts all over my body and was naked, covered in mudd and pretty cold, so they called my friend's dad, they caught me, took me to a clinic and sedated me. I woke up the next day strapped to a clinic bed, naked, muddy, disoriented and with cuts all over my body and went home, I didnt leave my house for about a week and talked to my friends afterwars, who were all glad I was okay.

I've done LSD a few times since then and had a pretty good time, but never more than half a hit (my first was a full hit), one of my best was at a jazz festival that goes on every year where I live, and i'm thinking of doing a full hit in this year. Some friends tell me not to and others say that bad trips happen and doesn't necessarily mean it'll happen again, plus the night i freaked out i had had almost a full bottle of whishky by myself and lots of weed along with the acid.
Questions are, the fact that my farst trip went so wrong means I have some sort of propension? did the alcohol influence on this happening?(I think mostly yes) and is it recommendable to eat a full trip again (even when i know i'm in a place where really enjoy myself)?

Also, that was almost 2 years ago, i was WAY more insecure and aggressive back then, i had lots of hate repressed inside, I'm in a much more calm state of mind today than I was back then.

 

I think the whiskey influenced your trip, not only by puting your mind in an odd uncontrolled state, but hard liquor will just straight up make people freak the fuck out sometimes.
I think you should take a whole hit. you're friends are right that no matter what bad trips will happen some times, they won't occur every time. Have some confidence, man!

Just make sure you don't have a lot of stuff on your mind, especially at the jazz festival.

It means that you were not properly prepared/mature enough to embark on an LSD experience at the time, the setting that you suggest doesn't really sound conducive to a first time LSD experience, being around stoners can be alright but if you are confined to be around drunks and people doing blow they likely are to have much different vibes going on.

Yes most likely and LSD + alcohol is not a good mix for many but in particular for your first trip.

I think you'd be fine with 1 hit if you change to a quieter setting and don't take it with booze.

 

Almost a full bottle of whisky to yourself and you ask if the alcohol influenced the trip? Really?
And as said above, the setting wasn't the best either.. it wouldn't have been the greatest trip even without the alcohol. Couldn't deal with some coked up dudes chatting shit to me on a trip, especially along with some rowdy drunks.

I say give it a go again on it's own, maybe some weed for the way down, in a chilled setting with nothing to worry about.

 

If you were going to lose the plot again... you would have likely done it on the half dose... LSDs reactions aren't as dose dependent as some might think.

Alcohol and LSD is a very bad mixture... avoid it.

Even weed and LSD can send you to a bad place... although it's usually more depressive/paranoid.

My suggestion would be to try a reasonable dose in a safe environment with a small number of your most trusted friends, with some good music in the background... that will be conducive to a good experience.

Tripping in public is more likely to send you to a bad place if you're not ready for it.

Personally... I still have not tripped on LSD in public - I plan to later this year... but I've had quite a few doses and they've always been in a safe environment.
