the 'What Colour Shall I Dye My Dreads This Time? thread

I've been having hair dying urges for a while.
I want a change.
I have toyed with the idea of cutting *hides*

BUT I WILL NOT. not yet anyway. graduating uni with these babies!

What colour shall I dye them? I tend to go for bright colours

I've been.....
blonde
orange (crap bleach, went orange, but it was unintentional and not proper orange)
red
blue & purple
pink
brown with random red ones

currently the bulk of my dread length is my natural colour, dark brown. the tips are purpley but its starting to fade and go patchy (can see the blonde underneath)

i wasn't going to dye them again... really like my natural hair colour... BUT IM SO BORED OF IIITTT. i want colour. i want to do stuff to my hair.

You should totally do actual orange (like, bleach and then put one of the really bright dyes over), I've done it and it might have been my favourite colour I've had aside from blonde, it definitely got the most weird looks, even more than turquoise haha.

im liking the idea of just bleaching a few and having a few coloured ones maybe

 

GO BLUE AND PURPLE.

Cause there awesome colours and thats where my vote goes, im gonna go blue next

 

i always thought green tips would be cute on dreads! like a reverse tree..

 

^^^^yeah, keep your dark brown and then dye like a nice deep green on the ends and be a treeeee!!!

Scwarfkkppoff have thse awesomeballs dyes atm, the proper bright orange, pink, or red, like aweome red, ill send you a pic smelly, I got the orange one cus it might math my felties but its only semi permanant so 6-8 washes whch for me is like 6 weeks so its cool, and it cost likr £4 cus it was on ofeerrr. Might need two batches but I'm gonna try it. I want the red one too. AAHH
