I noticed that today most people don't respect witches, druids, shamans and all others who uses magick. It's quite sad when you help someone you don't get any thanks. Me and a friend helped a man who had back problems. He wanted too try something "spiritual" and got good results. Afterwards he took too name calling, slander etc. As he was ungrateful we took back the good we had done and left him with his old back problems again. Why would you make yourself an enemy of someone who did you a world of good? And this applies too not only magick, but general acts of kindness aswell, many spit in your face. It's not even worth teaching them a lesson since they will not draw any wisdom from their actions. What do you think?
I think this is not something recent, the majority seemed to have frowned upon this stuff for hundreds of years already. Except for kindness, this is generally still appreciated from my experience.
I am a member of the Native American Church . It blows me away , how Euro American's deny their European Homeland and the ways of their ancient ancestors. Europeans were more intouch with their inner selves and were at one with the Earth and Sky . Then they arrested, convicted, indicted their Saviour ( wrongfully blamed the Jewish ) and murdered him . Since then, many Christian value greed , hypocrisy, murder, theft and War , over Peace, Equality, Justice and helping their fellow Humans Don't be surprised when they come out with the new MAGA / Trump Bible .... it's coming .
I think that if you're expecting some transactional karmic quid pro quo, including respect or gratitude, you're not doing "good". You're doing business. The sage is kind to the kind. They are also kind to the unkind, For the nature of the sage is kindness. ☸
it's internetism people used to have to research things before they knew them, but no longer. everyone is an expert after googling for 20 minutes. trolls have conquered the hilltop. but for practice humility and keeping humble is now a real virtue and best yet, if you don't tell then you can live in peace without anyone knowing anything.
