So I've been working on this project where I create a pixelated image consisting of 100 squares and make mandelbulbs of the colour (with mandelbulber) of each one of the squares and make a mosaic thereof. I am going to do it by physically printing out each picture and putting them together on a wall, but so far I've just put it together with a mosaic application (Andreas Mosaic) to do a mockup. I have a few different versions, none of which turned out perfect. It's a WIP, but it should be pretty cool once finished 6x6 on a wall It represents this iconic image: and looks like this: This project is taking me forever and I'm trying many different options. It's been a pain in the ass because I mixed up all the fractals so they're no longer in order, so essentially I've created a puzzle for myself. In the end, though, it should be really cool. What do you think? e: fix'd
Pretty swell! Definitely post results upon completion. I know the task of working on large pieces.. they can appear quite overwhelming but if you take it one snippet at a time it is no problem. Keep things in proper perspective. You don't have to finish it in 5 minutes.
