What's your middle name?

My mother wasn't very imaginative when it came to giving me a middle name. Like millions of other girls, my middle name is Ann. It's so plain, boring, and overused.

My daughter's middle name is Jolene. I actually never really cared for the name much, but we named her after a song the husband and I really love. Also, we wanted her to have an "Merican" sounding middle name to counterbalance her first name, Anjä.

I'm called by my middle name. My mom gave me her first name and called me by my middle name to avoid confusion. I love my middle name but it was always a pain in the ass in school because i had to correct teachers constantly, they wanted to call me by my first name.

My husban also goes by his middle name, which is his father's first name.

I didn't want to say it since its the name I'm called...not that it matters because I doubt anyone I know is perusing these forums but I still feel weird saying it

If it holds anywhere near the popularity of your first name, I doubt anybody would assume it was you anyhow.
