What'd you get?

What are yougetting/what did you get for the holidays? Its still christmas eve here but i know alot of presents of mine. Im getting some hoodies, a couple rap cd's, a video game, a plane ticket to go see my friends in Va for 2 weeks, and 250 bucks(+the 81 i already have) to spend on clothes and stuff (and by stuff i mean weed haha)

overall though, its been an easy come, easy go christmas. ive pretty much grown out of the whole thing or whatever, caus christmas means so little to me now.

i think i just prefer to go out and party and have heaps of fun than to spend the day with your family and give and get presents.


im a novelty present person myself, i love giving presents that people just find interesting, instead of books and stuff which a person could like or could not. everyone loves novelty though!

 

but yeh personally, i prefer going out and buying things than spending money on things that people might not like, and getting presents that i.. often dont see much in lol, caus then theyve wasted their money too.

 

I got Eminem:Encore, Tupac:Loyal to the game(RECCOMMENDED!! IT KICKS ASS!),Hoodies and jeans(exco), Cheech and Chong:Up in Smoke,Cologne(I think it was expensive, Im not sure tho).

 

I got a pint of JD and collector's edition shotglasses to boot.

And stuff I got, I actually got my dad a piece, just haven't given it to him yet.

 

I agree with Bill, Christmas isn't quite what it used to be. I guess the magic is gone.

But it's still fun. I always get my Christmas wish every year, which is an end to the Christmas music. After that, I got some CDs (John Denver, Virginia Coalition, Carbon Leaf, ), some books (one by John Stewart, and one I bought myself 70% off about native americans; 7 bucks for a large hardcover book which usually costs around $50), a gift card for gas ($50), and some lotto tickets where I won 22 bucks.

I also got my strangest gift ever yesterday, as part of my Christmas bonus at work. It was a giant Hershey's bar, 5 pounds of chocolate. It's friggin huge.

 

i got a nintendo DS, its cool.

 

I got Grateful Dead - The Golden Road box set, The Grateful Dead Movie, some Clothes, Tye-Dye sheets to match my tye-dye comforter(sooooo comfy) an orniment in memory of my grandma who died on christmas eve(wouldnt read it infront of everyone becuase i knew it would make me cry, still havent read the poem/prayer thats with it) Ms Pac-Man plug n play TV game(Pole Position kicks royal ass!!!!) minutes for my phone, Family Guy Volume 1 & 2, boxers, bob marley 2005 calendar.... and i cant think of whatelse i got. Merry Christmas to all. PEACE

 

Yes Loyalty To The Game is a badass CD, i bought it the second it came out, its probably my favorite cd to come out since his death besides Better Dayz. Another badass cd out right now is Snoops Rythm and Gangsta, its awesome, the beats are wonderful, its the best album of snoops since Doggy Style, no joke

 

I got a bunch of sweet shit this xmas including a cell phone, sweet dragon snowboarding goggles, an Mp3, and $50. I'm not spoied I just have a lot of rich relatives.

 

Ya this cds the shit besides better dayz....so much beat, so much sense. hahaaha. Encore is pritty kool too. But ya I agree also wit Bill, christmas aint it used to be. I remember when I was like 8 and Id wait for santa.. hahaha.

 

I got a surround sound, elf, dodge ball (highly roccommed a very very funny movie, but a very lame concept) 300 bucks, an ounce, encore, the jay-z and linkin park cd,
ll cool j's new cd, like 10 new out fits, 5 new hats, and sum shoes...........
yet i also think that CHRISTMAS IS VERY LAME but my family does not

i remember when i found out santa wasnt real. i waited up for him, and cought my step bro in the act of putting it under the tree. but it wasnt a perfect surveillance so i did it again the next year, and when i (stupidly) told my mum what i saw, santa turned into 'two gifts from parents' , and then two years later, he was merely the past.,

 

Haha, that's funny, nice police work Bill. I found out when I was up in my parents' room looking at all "the loot." All these gifts said "from Santa" but it was like, a week before Christmas. My sister, who's older than I am, just said "well that proves santa is a fake" but I was trying with all my might to hold onto my belief, saying "well, come on, Santa has millions of kids to give gifts to, this explains how he does it, he drops them off early." But it was halfhearted and that was the end of my belief in Santa.

It helped that the to/from notes my mom as "from Santa" were all fancy and loopy and feminine, and the one's my dad wrote were in all capitals like a mechanical or architectural writing (my dad's a carpenter foreman who studied architecture too). That always seemed kind of strange, and was part of why I accepted that Santa was a myth so quickly.
