Excited, and a wee bit dissapointed.

Well I've been living in Upstate NY my whole life, primarily the Catskill Mountains. All of the friends I have ever had are here. I'm moving to Ocala, Florida in June and I'm super excited. The only think I'm worried about is being disconnected from my friends, none of us are wealthy enough to just get up and visit, and I'm the only one with ambition enough to hike/trainhop if I felt in needed.

Anyhow.. I know I have to experience new things, I'm just getting over that kiddy phase where you think things will pan out differently. It just seems like a lot to digest. Leaving our band that we've held for 4 years, the random adventures. A lot of good memories. I'm not trying to whine, and I know it's a good thing to move out of this dead beat area...

Has anyone ever been to Ocala? I've heard a lot about it from my family, but have any of you had experiences there? Share them if you do, I'm interested
