Northern MN is quite frozen as well. I have not been sleeping tonight so I have been listening to my Pandora Blackmore's Night station. Trying to inspire myself. I would be playing my harp but i need new strings for both it and the Mandolin sigh...I have to wait until next month to afford them. Some nights I just sit in the dark and strum music, composing tunes that I will never be able to play again. Since I do not bother to record them or write them down.

I have discovered I miss being around people lately. I am home bound with a wound vac hooked up to my abdomen. Luckily it will be removed on the 8th but then I have to have a naval hernia repaired and a Panniculectomy to prevent the infections I keep getting since September.

Normally I would go out and listen to music at a local coffee shop. So cabin fever it is. I am around teenagers daily but not people my own age. It is just most of my long time friends my age are in Minneapolis, Scottland, California, Vermont, New York, and Canada. Many do not have gadgets and computers.

Thank you, I have always loved her work. Thanks for complimenting my turtle. I did it in color pencil while I watched "Imagination Station" with my children when they were young.

 

I have always had a thing about turtles. I have a small collection carved from stone and wood.

 

When I was 8 I caught a turtle down by the river (Mohawk, Rome NY) and brought it home to my (and my 4yr old sister's) room. Turtle bit Sis and Mom made me get rid of turtled! Turtle didn't chase Patty down and bite her! Patty (R.I.P.) stuck her finger in turtle's mouth! At the time I thought Mom's choosing to get rid of turtle was a terrible miscarriage of justice! lol

 

Anybody out there willing to help a brother out? I would appreciate it greatly. :sunny:
