Recently on a tv programme, I saw a poor guy who put up with a pain in his testicals for a few months & did nothing about it. After going thru tests & an operation, the surgeons removed one of his & it measured a whopping 6cm x 9cm in size. It was a seriously large cancer growing on it. So how often do you check yourself for it ?
Men in general do not check often enough. That also applies to breast cancer. Easy to do and could save your life.....so please fellows cop a little feel now and again and make sure your parts stay healthy.
Really excellent video on self examination. Warning: (Full Frontal Male Nudity, Non-Sexual, For Health Purposes, Allowed under Youtube Terms) Penis, Testicles self-exam https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ESSPIN3aXk"]Testicular Cancer - Self Examination (Public Domain Video - Adults Only) - YouTube
i dont really check...i just figure id notice if there was pains or they started getting larger there is another thread on this in the mens section http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=94106&f=243
i don't do it on a regular schedule or anything. every once in a while something will remind me and i'll feel around for anything unusual. then again, it's not terribly unusual for me to adjust myself and just leave them in my hand for a while because it's a comfortable position, and while i'm not technically checking myself i would be likely to notice anything particularly off kilter while doing so. of course, if i was feeling pain in my balls, or if one of them was significantly bigger than the other (like 6cm by 9cm) i would notice without having to check, and i would immediately get myself to a doctor.
I have a prosthetic testicle. CHECK YOURSELVES OR END UP .... LIKE ME! Have an exam, if they catch it early the prognosis is very good. My lady found a lump. I was too slack, pathetic and....typical male.....check guys, is it worth dying for?
To replace the one he lost to cancer (and likely for cosmetic reasons, just as breast reconstruction is popular after mastectomy).
And to keep himself from walking around in circles. I know, black humour, nothing funny about it, couldnt help myself, I'm sorry
If you watch the video you'll see that it is emphasised that even if there is a cancer there it probably won't come across as being painful so, whatever you do, don't take pain as a guideline. Personally, I shave myself once a week while I'm in the bath, and when I soaping myself up I always take the opportunity to run a standard test, as the warm water makes the testes easily malleable.
Every chance I get and I check my cock too. I can check myself for as long or short a period of time as I want because they're mine.
