Mary, I'm not at all mad at you and I'm not yelling about anything.

I am just very frustrated to think that all that we have worked so very hard on should just be thrown out.

 

If we dont have to do anything else, are we ready to file.

 

I see Ace, Kenny, Ranger, Me and Mike in here right now.

If there is anything we have missed please speak now..

 

Two points:
1. I have been leaving a browser tab open on this page for the past several days to make it easier to find my way back to this little purple corner of the internet where some of you seem to want to hang out. So, just because I show as "on line" on your buddy list, do not assume I am sitting and reading what's going on here in real time.

2. I have just finished catching up on all that has transpired since I said "good night" about 12 hours ago. I'm a little fuzzy on what the original intent was, here. I joined the conversation because people who I consider friends, and with whom I share history which includes some connection with GE asked me to.

But it's not clear to me just where this is heading, or why. And I have ZERO interest in choosing up sides for a pissing contest. I'm going to log off now, so don't expect me to answer any quorum calls or cast any more ballots for a while. I'll try to remember to drop back by in a week or so to see if there's any way I can engage constructively at that point. In the meantime, I encourage everyone to try to play nice, and share your toys.

I have to say I am SICK. I have 102 temp, I'm coughing sneezing and my eyes are blurry. I was trying to hold two phone convos typing in the forum with a thermometer in my mouth while reading the SOS laws of incorporation and trying to understand Kenny's unpleasentness to the point I became a tigeress and lashed out. Please forgive me.

If I sound a bit tense, I am sorry> I can't help it my head is pounding and all of this is not helping.

There are no sides just inflamed debate. I think we have it hammered out now and all our ducks in a row. Everything has been motioned, second and voted on, and all votes are closed by a majority vote.

Me and Ranger have gone over and over looking at the past records where it is all completed by the book in a round about way, bc of time delays and such. We have both agreed ( 2 to 1) That all was in order and a motion was made and second to close. Three of 5 votes to close is a majority and so we closed the meeting. As Mike came in and voted which made the majority. Any new business was asked for and there was none. So The meeting is closed.

The Officers elected can now talk about filing the forms, or not.

 

I'm logging off for now. if you need me just give me a ring. I'm going to wipe the keyboard down with lysol, wash up, and watch a nice peaceful western.

Well my brothers and sisters,
We are well on our way to becoming a non profit. We have hammered it out, like true Hippies, with the grace of a heard of buffalo stampeding through Macy's. Tho not our finest hour we did manage to, through perseverance and constant regurgitation of what we previously consumed, reach a conclusion to this chapter of the book.

I have to admit it was a struggle wading through all the state and gov regulations. To do the bylaws, mission statement, formation, name search, rewriting the bylaws and missions statement. Holding meetings, motions to do this and that, seconds to all motions and then voting on EVERYTHING, having a majority vote on every vote and closing every vote, all done on a message board with everyone in different time zones.

It did get frustrating and temperatures did rise there at the end, but all said and done. We did accomplish what we set out to do. None of us are experts in the field.

There were a couple of folks that did offer their knowledge on their experience with such matters and were and are a great benefit to The Church Of The Good Earth.

I would like to apologize and thank AC Smith and Chris Wah for their patience and guidance. I know we can be a bit scattered at times but "With A Little Help From Our Friends" we are learning more and are getting better.

I would also like to extend that apology and thanks to Spud and Mike Bedell for showing up and voting.

Hi Y'all,
The state forms have been mailed out today 1/23/13. It will take a few weeks to hear back from them. So, we wait. I'm very excited as it all unfolds and becomes what it is going to become.
