Psychedelic Bump XX

I think this is going to be a big year for transformative music gatherings. Four for sures on my calendar so far. Psychedelic Excitement!

 

I wish I was closer to big music festival gatherings... I'd go to every one I could. The bands are getting booked for the one in spring, some better quality music and arts are going to be there then past years. I'm stoked!

pre-bump for my friend trying a 25i/25c-nbome blotter. he's wanting to take it and go to the bar tonight, a different friend's band is playing there. i'm worried about him mixing it with alcohol, but i know he won't refrain from drinking. maybe i'll stress that he should start with half a tab? (~750 ug of each)

 

tripping and then drinking = ok
drinking and then tripping = oo

 

I wouldn't sample that combo while going out for the first time... it won't enhance the music - so it could piss him off a bit... especially with alcyhol

 

yeah, it's actually a punk rock band, which we probably won't like the sounds of. i noticed on one of those blotters that i wasn't really getting into the music i usually listen to while tripping or sober. i had to mix it up and listen to some more poppy / electronic stuff.

i'm going to advise him against doing it tonight. maybe try it at home. but i get the feeling he and his other friend really wanna take them tonight. they are adults so i'll probably let them make their own decision. but i will feel bad if something goes wrong, so maybe i'll have to "forget" them when i go out tonight. i dunno

 

Ditto, haha. Physics is my medium of choice.

 

Yeah - it seperates you from the music, it's not good for a night out really

Also the lack of connected feeling, not such a good place to be.

Yah I've been checking out some shows to go to. Not a festival (although you wouldn't know it based on the ticket prices :mickey: ) but I'm contemplating seeing Muse here in a few weeks on acid. (Maybe Candyflip)

Don't really care so much for what I've heard from their new album but I remember listening to this track on 2cb and it was pretty great, got a very prog feel to it and I like a lot of their stuff from this album Black Holes and Revelations and Absolution. Someone who has seen them in HF chat says I MUST go but I think I'll let work dictate my choice.

And Guerrilla, Muse is worth it just for the show. They have an UNREAL stage show this year, it'd be unbelievable on acid. Tons of lights, tons of lasers, and a giant rotating pyramid of lights that eventually encloses the band.

If you can, go.

 

On concert on *just* 2c-b, I would find a touch boring to be honest.

Start with MDMA & drop 2c-b on at t+3-4 and it's a completely different ballgame... much more fun.

Although for Muse... I would have to go with LSD - enjoy the show dude

 

I saw Muse many years ago, and they did put on a great show.

bump for starting college this week very heavy courseload but i'm going to pour myself into this like nothing before in my life. I have to basically quit smoking weed too (and tripping will be extremely rare), my days are that packed.

 

Camping festies - nothing big, 1000 max, psytrance or ambient, everybody psychedelic. I just love it to be able to go to my tent and lay down for an hour or whatever. Can dance on the trancefloor or along the road or in a meadow. Or not dance. Whatever. Live art. Beautiful people. Creating a structure for all these things to happen. It's all just like my sigline says... Blissed out euphoria, beauty, saying true things, loving, ecstatic dancing.

IT'S INCREDIBLE THAT THESE THINGS ARE REALITY!

 

my friend seemed to like the 25i/25c. he took ~500 ug each (1/3 of a blotter). said the christmas lights at the bar were extending quite a ways. he said that it was a perfect level for a night like that.

i told him how to dose it (buccally and holding your spit in your mouth) but he was drinking so i'm sure he swallowed a lot of it. i only hung out with him for the first hour and a half or so, so i'll have to hear about the rest of his night tomorrow.


edit: he took the other ~2/3rd of the blotter later in the night. said that it really kicked in then. he was sampling it out for his buddy who was interested in trying it. he liked it enough to tell his friend it was good, but not enough to want any more for himself

I hope it's worthwhile! I didn't have any time for drugs last semester, and I was at 20.5 credit hours. This semester is much more relaxed, thank god. I just recently switched out of neuroscience and into psychology. I might also try to get a cognitive science degree because it's just so much fun.
