I've had corneal transplants and refractive lasik surgery. My eye sight has always been a journey. Physically blind no.. but I've spent months not being able to read anything nor have any definition to watch TV. It fucking sucked ass.
I did so much cocaine once that I blacked out without blacking out. I was completely blind for about an hour but still conscious of everything going on around me. It was pretty creepy. I don't miss those days!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99y75qCNJZI i have only went "blind" from standing up too fast, getting a headrush and everything goes black for a few seconds. or from "winter blindness." if you're outside for a long time in the bright snow, and you come back inside to a dark house, your pupils have adjusted to so small that you can barely see for a minute or two.
I did go blind once, late 1970's, when I did more than usual of what we called "T". People said it was THC. My boyfriend always said he was "Tickin". I've since learned that it was PCP.
I did go blind for short time from concussion. Also, when I was at hospital with pneumonia. I didn't want to breathe from the pain, so much that I stop breathing in my sleep! I felt I was suffocating in my dream, then wake up and was blind, but everything was white.
