tru dat. do you have your own forum, or are you just talking about that sex toys guy? i really don't understand how spam is even considered an effective practice. 99% of it is deleted before anyone ever even sees it, let alone follows the links.
the world will not be free until the last big mac and the last spammer are launched into a black hole yeah, it's the latest sex toys guy that has set me off the spam may get deleted 99% of the time, but it's free to post. so they just post a few thousand messages if they didn't make money doing it, they wouldn't do it I'm sure they'll also put malware on your machine if they can, because that's the easiest way to make money on the click-throughs

Thankyou to everybody who reports spam ! Sooner or later (within hours) it'll be gone. It's like with headache ... so nice when it stops. Just don't reply to spam please :2thumbsup: I guess as long as money flows and people are paid for it (as well as fall prey) there'll be spam.
And thank you Cloud for your work at limiting the spam at this site, I'm sure most people here do not realize how much spam we get and how much you personally eliminate before anyone even sees it.

Spam is horrible, although I haven't had hardly any of it since I got a new e-mail address. The other kind of spam is good, though. I enjoy eating spam on occasion.
most places, they don't get paid for removing it. if skip started paying you guys, i'll gladly apply for mod here. i don't know how the spam posters get paid, but i assume it must be purely by number of posts. not here, but on another forum, i keep seeing them sign up, start a thread, and post the same thing 30 or more times in a row in that one thread.
maybe, but that makes the whole posting the same thing over and over in one thread even more baffling.
... and it seems like hf had been getting barraged with spam lately I think it may even be the worst I've seen, though some old timers here may have seen worse days
