There are a bunch of TV shows from when I was young that a lot of my friends don't remember.

Any shows that you remember that none or most of your friends don't?

Here are two: Get a Life and Parker Lewis Can't Lose.

I remember both of those. The titles, and the general idea, atleast.

'Oh Doctor Beeching' had some of the same actors from 'Hi-de-Hi'.
It was about fun and games on a 1960's railways line and station (I think).
They (the writers and some of the actors) tried another show before this 'You rang m'lord'.
    Nothing could beat 'Hi-de-hi'

The title was in reference to:
"The Reshaping of British Railways", commonly referred to as "The Beeching Report", which led to far-reaching changes in the railway network, popularly known as the Beeching Axe. As a result of the report, just over 4,000 route miles were cut on cost and efficiency grounds, leaving Britain with 13,721 miles (22,082 km) of railway lines in 1966. A further 2,000 miles (3,200 km) were lost by the end of the 1960s.

'The darling buds of May' had Catherine Zeta Jones in - her of Hollywood fame and fortune.
Also Pam Ferris - star of TV and small British films (and a few big ones).
The star was David Jason - who was also in 'Only fools and horses', and later 'A touch of Frost'.
    - he's supposedly a comedy icon.

I did not like either show.

    ...and BBC 1.

I remember the title, and probably watched it. I can't remember anything about it, though. A Ghost that writes?

BJ and the Bear. This was a show that only lasted one-two seasons about a trucker and his monkey. It was on around 1981ish. I also loved Square Pegs.
