It's called dry skin brushing or something right? I was reading about that and i might start doing it, but it said it takes a month to see results? That was only in one article though.
Yes you've got it, you can youtube it and watch videos to see how its done, you only need to watch once but it makes your skin incredibly smooth and gives you a glow as well as 'apparently' doing wonder for your insides. I suffer with dry skin and you would think that using a brush would aggravate it would'nt you? it did totally the opposite! Another thing you could try is 'oil pulling' to which I swear had incredible results, I bought some pure virgin coconut oil and you use it to swish around your mouth for 15 mins a day..... sounds weird I know but it is supposed to release toxins into the salivia that you spit out at the end, I had some great results, was full of energy and had some great sleep but then I ran out of cash to buy some more........its pretty expensive. Try reading up on 'oil puling with coconut oil' it has amazing benefits!!
I kind of had a setback today and had a burrito. I also had some salmon, but salmon is healthy. I also had some milk for the first time in about week.
Natural peanut butter is very, very good for you...loaded with good protein, and it sounds like you can certainly stand the calories. Make a good sandwich with some type of whole grain bread, peanut butter, honey or jam with no preservatives, and that is super good for you. It is not necessarily unhealthy for your body to be hot or sweat when others don't! Just because you have a naturally higher metabolism than others is cause for envy (for others!), not worry. But...you should quit with the deep fried fast foods everyday. I've said this before and I'll say it again - I'm a believer in moderation. I don't see the great big problem with having an occasional burger and fries... Since you are already active and go to the gym, it sounds as if you get good exercise. You need to work out until you sweat! Continue with lots of water, juice and if you can stand the taste of it, golden seal tea is an excellent antioxidant! (If I remember correctly...) Blueberries and prunes are the fruits highest in antioxidants.
lol my sweating and body heat is nothing to envy. If i could change one thing about my life it would be that. It makes me so uncomfortable most days, especially when its warm out. My face and neck feel as if they are on fire, which leads to embarrassment which leads to anxiety. I hate it to much. but yes i will be buying organic penut butter prolly tommorwo
LOL - believe it or not - I understand all about sweating. I've been told, and read, where it is actually very healthy AND that it is much less healthy for people not to sweat. That being said...I am a "sweater" (not a piece of clothing...lol). In the summer, there have been times I have told my best friend I HATE YOU FOR NEVER SWEATING! (Of course I don't mean that.) I will be literally pouring sweat and there will be a few thin dots of sweat on her upper lip. grrrrr It has always been like this. We have been friends since childhood. For what it's worth, I'm much healthier than her. I've seen the same thing with other people that "don't sweat". Of course one cannot base anything on just one example. I'm just saying that my personal experience does back up what I've read.
Also, remember to keep your environment clean. I'm a packrat, personally, and a slob to boot. I feel great when everything's clean and in place (even if still cluttered, because I simply like things) but it doesn't stay that way long, and it's one of those things like exercise, you have to get in the groove and keep at it, but it really helps your overall state. Then again, you may be super OCD and have the opposite problem.... just saying though.
