    Hey

I've been smoking 1 cigarette every week. I have been doing this around a year. Just for the relaxation and the buzz.

But lately I have noticed that I have a low wheezing sound when I exhale slow. I guess I can't smoke anymore... But will this go away?? I had asthma when I was a kid, but I haven't felt it since I was very young.

So what do you think. Will the wheezing go away by itself? I have tried using a asthma inhaler. And do you think I can still smoke a cigarette every week, cause I really doubt that 1 cigarette a week is very harmfull.

Thanks in advance for any replies :)

Cigs are fucking nasty.. if you're only smoking 1 a week.. you should just quit.. it's not like you're addicted.. and your body will thank you

a couple of years ago I had a bad case of bronchitis with underlying asthma. The doctor told me that cigarettes were undoubtedly responsible for the asthma. I quit and the asthma went away.one cigarette a week isn't much but if you used to have asthma it's probably enough to trigger it.

I smoke natural tobacco when I smoke now - America spirits. They don't use any additives or chemicals and they don't give me asthma attacks like most brands. If you're going to smoke at all I recommend switching to a brand that uses natural organic tobacco with no additives.

I watched cigarettes slowly kill my mom and it was a painful death. If you had seen that you would never have thought about ever smoking even one of those cancer sticks. Give it up while you can. Good Luck.

i doubt the cigarettes are responsible for your wheezing, it's likely something else.

however- when i started smoking five years ago, i was like "oh it's fine i'm only smoking one every now and then". and that i did for quite some time, until it progressed without me even realizing it.

don't care if you've kept it up for a year, even if it might not happen to you, becoming addicted just isn't worth the risk. like jokerman said, quit now man, before it's a bigger problem.

i've been trying to quit for a while now and it's hard as shit, i went from a pack and a half a day to a little less than half a pack a day but so far i haven't been able to keep away totally.

whatever you decide, you still might want to see your GP about the wheezing, if that's an option for you, just to be safe

Probably the underlying asthma coming up with the inhalation of smoke which is irritating your lungs. Bad idea and bad move to start using even weekly. It will slowly progress as said before to two a week, three, four etc. quit while you're ahead. Don't join the queue of people waiting to die from a long painful death (myself included on that list).

Thanks for all the answers. Today I quit, and I know that I won't smoke cigarettes again.
My brother and my friend was outside and my friend started lighting up a cigarette and I managed to ignore the urge to get that little nicotine rush.

    I won't smoke anymore.
