happy new year(NOT another one)

:juggle: yep, that's me juggling another New Year. Where did 1972 go? I turned around and i was 58. that went FAST. about me: I was caretaking my dear old dad, he is 91 soon to be 92, i was non-stop care-giving for the last 4 years, it took a toll on my health(gaining it back now with good, healthy food) I placed my dad in a nursing home(HARDEST thing i have ever had to do in my life) a week before Christmas. (he's only 5 minutes from me, so, i can see him all the time). BUt, I was and still am sad and guilty about this and to be honest, a little lost without him here under-foot. I am lonely, I realized I had no friends when I came out of this 4 year "hibernation". what i would love to do is meet a kind man, a help-mate and make my way through life, living in a commune possibly, because i love the outdoors and gardening. or, I would love to be able to do what the American Pickers do ...go junking and look for hidden treasure. lol. anyways, enough about me. I just wanted to say hello, to all. And, if you like the sound of me and want to talk you are very welcome to do so. thanks for listening.

 

Hey i'm new here also. Like you I found myself at a place in life without really any friends. Totally different circumstances and i'm in a different country to you but Hi anyway. I like bunnies and gardening too, and metal detecting but I haven't actually done any of that, I just want to. I dug up a compass in my garden when I was a kid; I still have it. Best treasure I ever found.

hi, thanks for the info. yeah, i am registered, i don't know why it says "guest"..i just saw that, too. ok, so, since i'm new, maybe, technically i am still a guest. who knows? lol. but, I do have Java on my computer, i tried the Chat acess again, and ....no luck. it just game me a reverb sounding "goodbye"...lol. lol...i do a lot of facepalming, don't feel bad.
