1. So being new to this... i have a space roughly 4x8ft how many plants max can i grow in this area?? how many young plants?? and then as they mature how many older ones in this space??? what type of lighting for each phase? 2. next big question.... what is the time frame, from seeds to useable product? "including curing times" and what is the average time from clones to useable product? thank you for any advise...
So LuMp, how long to veg and how long to flower?? I am working on a schedule for my sugershack of 12 wks veg and 6 wks flower, that brings it to 4.5 months and drying/curing for 2 wks gives you 5 months. Is my time schedule too stretched out?
Nah... -Sounds pretty good B1! -They autta get real big-n-fat in 3 months. You should have plenty of bud site on it by then! -I grow somma my moms in coco choir and 3 months veg sounds good. ><>**^^~~~ --Peace on Earth n all that Jazzz !
I would suggest doing some personal research before starting this grow. Check out the faq's at different mj websites. If you start the grow and have an ass load of questions while it is growing, chances are you will not have a successful grow. Just my $0.02.
I prefer a vegg cycle of 2 weeks myself. This is with rooted clones. It allows for much more plants and focuses on flowering so there is realy no loss in yeild. SOG is by far the best way to go if your trying to maximize the room. I would start them under flouros till they have roots, then straight to a 400 WATT Metal Halide for 2 weeks, then straight under a 1000 WATT HPS. They will triple in size. Or you could vegg 2 weeks then top them if the strains are receptive to this technique, vegg for another week and then go for flower. All the above times are correct also, it just depends on how you want to grow it. I prefer short and sweet. Although I love to flower out a mamma and see the HUGE bushes emerge now and again. lol.
IMO,12 weeks veg is entirely a waste of time/electricity.Do some research as Guysmiley suggested as you are off to a long unecessary start.I do hope ya have alot of room and lite.
Sea Of Green. It's a style of groeing that forms mostly colas due to the fact that 98% of all SOG grows are from clones. The even canopy provides for top cola lighting.
thanx medicinalhydro for the cycle info I have a couple of books coming in the mail soon to answer the bulk of my questions but wanted to get started asap.. thanx everyone for your info keep it coming if you have more
