I like munching on carrots and lettuce. All the chewing seems to release tension.

Sushi, monster salads with lots of goodies, pizza, potatoes, bready-carby goodness, pasta, Chinese...

The list could go on, I'm quite the foodie.

Soup. I make a couple of different soups a week and eat it almost every day in the winter, with grilled cheese sandwiches or some kind of wrap

Also any kind of old school southern cooking, where everything is oversalted and the nutrients are fried right out of the food - only when cooked homemade by a nice southern grandma. Those meat and 3 places never get it right

Homemade macaroni and cheese with meatloaf. Or chips and dip.

There is nothing you reach for in particular if you're sad or in need of comfort?

not really. i don't really keep a large selection of foods at home, so if i have to eat something when i'm sad i generally just eat the same stuff i eat any other time.

plus, i'm not really a sad eater anyway. if anything, i think i eat less then.
