I recently finished War and Peace. I started it for a challenge. Didn't think I'd actually enjoy it but I did. I found the flashing from the Russian social life to the battlefield a bit disconcerting at first. The battlefield portions of the story were a bit difficult to enjoy but I did really love Tolstoy's writing. I have already both some more of his titles to read because I loved his writing style so much. So what did you guys think?
Its been a long time since I read it, but I do believe I enjoyed it, also. His writing style is definitely unique.
