They look like crud and the ends are a bit whispy but MEH roll on the next year Dear Dreadlets, I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you over the coming months.
I just went right through your old thread, was great to see how they matured, hopefully this set'll be just as awesome! What happened to looking all smart and professional then?
These are the felt dreads I'm installing in the next few days! Waiting for some Dye to arrive to dye the red/brown colour ones to a colour that'll match my hair colour more. I IS EXCITED
Loads of character in this set. They look like food. Not in a weird way, in a home made-y baked product way. Nope, can't explain myself properly. Felt dread things look cool.
I get it. Like wonky cookies in a backwards cookie jar. Can't explain that one either. This set has shrunk so friggin much, they are tiiiiinnnyyyy!! I have them up in a hairtie most of the time, some don't even make it into that xD I'm glad it's winter, I get to wear hats ALL THE TIME
FELTIES Merino wool Dreads installed with a felting needle onto 4 month old (very short) dreadlets ^^ I dyed the tips of my hair to match the colour of the felt dreads, it's difficult to see in this light (very tempted to dye my whole head that colour)
One week with the felties and they have settled in rather marvellously(sp? XD) my scalp has adjusted to the weight dry and wet, so that's good. Original dreads feel great and the joins (felt to dread and felt to felt) feel very secure now. Feels so good to have long dreads!!
